Photoshop Composite Project

Document size- this is up to you to determine. Your image or scene might determine this.
Resolution- keep your resolution at a minimum of 150 DPI. Don't go over 300 DPI bceause you file size will be [wicked] huge.

1. Composite a Creature
In the vein of the cryptozoology, create a monster from other animals. Use at least three different animals to take parts from. Use the channels and path tools to make your selections.

2. Composite a self portrait/landscape using the methods of David Hockney
Make your own photographs. The more you make the better- more visually interesting.
Think about changing your point of view and perspective while shooting. Also consider shooting just an object and trying to get many perspective while shooting then composite them together.

Due: Last Day of Class Dec. 4th:
Make a Print out so that we can pin them up to look and discuss them.

We will be continuing to do in-class assignments in Photoshop for the remaining days of this term.
Also, I anyone has a question about "how to" do anything or any skill that we did not cover this term, in either Illustrator or Photoshop - please let me know. I will be happy to show you specifics. It is hard to teach all aspects of a program in five weeks.
